Relationship Manager

The main purpose of the Relationship Manager role is to be the single point of contact with our University Partners and to engage with the broader team at GetSmarter.

 

 

Key responsibilities

  • Be the liaison that works in the interests of the partnership between GetSmarter and our University Partners.

  • Plan and implement a broad relationship management strategy, including a communication plan.

  • Provide regular feedback and reports on key areas to University Partners.

  • Relay important information from our University Partners to various GetSmarter Departments to ensure alignment and consistency internally, and to optimise performance.

  • Work with the broader Business development team to develop and implement the business growth strategy for GetSmarter.

  • Facilitate discussions with University Partners about new course selection, development, and presentation to students.

  • Attend, arrange and facilitate meetings with relevant University and GetSmarter staff.

  • Ability to engage on key academic development aspects such as curriculum design, scaffolding, assessment and quality assurance.

 

Job requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification(s), preferably postgraduate.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an education environment, preferably in tertiary education.

  • Willingness to travel, both locally and internationally.

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous; curriculum design, business development, teaching, relationship management.

Remuneration:  Negotiable depending on experience
Job level:  Mid - Senior
Type:  Permanent, 40-hour working week, Overtime and after hours may be required
Reports to:  Business Director
Start Date:  As soon as possible
