Why this course?

Over the past few years, South African labour legislation has grown exponentially, and its value and importance to both employers and employees can no longer be ignored. Businesses and employees who stay abreast of important developments and changes to the labour law can now enjoy extensive protection if they take the time to familiarise themselves with relevant labour legislation. This course seeks to remove the complexity involved in learning about applicable labour laws and relevant acts with reference to the most recent developments in the field.

This 8-week short course provides you with extensive exposure to all facets of South African labour law that can be practically applied in the workplace. Be empowered with the knowledge needed to enjoy fair labour practices at work, whether as an employee or employer, and learn to confidently navigate the relevant legislation outlined in the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, the Labour Relations Act, the Skills Development Act, and many others.
