This highly practical 10-week short course will empower you with the skills, competencies and theoretical knowledge base relevant to the support function within an organisation, in the South African context. On completion of the course, you will feel confident in your ability to communicate effectively; manage conflict; coordinate organisational finances, projects, teams and events; and perform a variety of high-level administrative tasks.

If you are already in the executive support profession, this course will give you the opportunity to formalise your training, and will provide you with both technical and practical skills that you can apply immediately and with confidence. This course is aimed at executive assistants, administrative assistants, personal assistants, clerks, secretaries, office managers, office supervisors, office administrators and managerial assistants. It will also help individuals from various fields to draw from an existing skills base and adapt them for the role of an executive assistant in any corporate environment, including retail sales assistants, customer service representatives, hospitality assistants and managers, teacher’s assistants, and medical and dental assistants.
